An angel is passing… to support on the one hand young people from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds by financing their studies and on the other hand people suffering from cancer and their families by providing funding for scientific research against that disease.

The Foundation was created by a Luxembourg resident of Italian origin and the name « Engeleefer » was chosen to pay tribute to the founder’s grandfather (named « Angelo », translated in Luxembourgish by « Engel »).  The founder’s wife has strong ties with the Foundation.
