The objective of the foundation is to support and stimulate studies on the themes of Late Antiquity and Byzantine Civilization.

Created by a Belgian scientist, fascinated by this rich historical period, the foundation finances projects on the themes of Late Antiquity and Byzantine Civilization, in collaboration with the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium or with associations active in the field of publishing historical books.
