The Foundation’s main objectives are on the one hand to help young people in getting access to education and on the other hand to support people suffering from cancer.

An angel is passing… to support on the one hand young people issued from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds by contributing to financing their studies and on the other hand people suffering from cancer and their families, as well as by providing funding for scientific research against cancer.

The Foundation was created by a Luxembourg resident of Italian origin and the name « Engeleefer » was chosen to pay tribute to the founder’s grandfather (named « Angelo », translated in Luxembourgish by « Engel »).  The founder’s wife has strong ties with the Foundation.
