The objective is to provide support to children and young people in need and to promote cooperation in cultural and scientific areas in the Greater Region.
The Fondation Marienburg supports projects and activities in the following areas:
- Youth Projects
The foundation funds projects and organizations in Luxembourg and elsewhere who are giving practical support to and help improve the living conditions of children and young people in difficult situations due to a lack of education, a complicated family situation, a health problem, a physical, mental or social disability.
- Cultural projects in the region Trier / Luxembourg
The foundation finances cultural projects in the region Trier / Luxembourg that address the general public and inspire their audience to actively engage themselves in the conservation of their rich cultural heritage.
- Cooperation in the field of scientific research between Luxembourg and Germany
The foundation supports activities to promote, strengthen and develop cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the field of scientific research.
