The Fondation Olivier, now closed, aimed to contribute to improving the living conditions of emotionally and/or physically disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people.

Convinced that a peaceful and tolerant society encompassing different cultures and religions is fostered by the education of its peoples, the founders, a Luxemburgish family, wish to support projects in the field of education. Furthermore they wish to support projects in adjacent areas such as access to health services, water, basic nutrition and housing. The founders aim to engage in the long-term in countries, which demonstrate a certain political stability.

The Fondation Olivier expired in 2017.
