Gerhard Jacobi Stiftung

The founder created the Gerhard-Jacobi Stiftung during his lifetime as a dormant foundation with the idea to promote cultural life in his home country after his lifetime. It is therefore only after his decease that the foundation became active. The foundation supports projects in the cultural and educational area. The founder was convinced that in a time of scarce resources of national states, private foundations would need to play an increasingly important role in society.
