The Été Foundation celebrates its 15th anniversary

On July 11, 2024, around thirty former “Marraines” and “Parrains” of the Été Foundation gathered to celebrate 15 years of philanthropic action.

Founded in 2009 by Pierre Brahms, the Été Foundation is among the very first foundations to be hosted under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg.

Its mission is to provide a non-bureaucratic boost to facilitate or accelerate projects in the fields of education, culture, and social initiatives in the Grand Duchy.

To achieve this, the Été Foundation relies on the expertise of professionals in these areas. Each month, the committee of “Marraines” and “Parrains” meets to review projects where a financial boost could make a real difference. It was primarily the godmothers and godfathers from the past 15 years who came together to celebrate the Foundation’s anniversary.

Since its inception, the Été Foundation has supported over 400 projects, with total distributions expected to reach one million euros in 2024.
