Press Release: The Fondation CANDIDA names the 2021 Prix Alice Wolzfeld et Jos Wolzfeld laureates

At a recent graduation ceremony, the Prix Alice Wolzfeld et Jos Wolzfeld was awarded to three students from the Lycée Classique d'Echternach.

Each year, the Prix Alice Wolzfeld and Jos Wolzfeld is awarded to three students with the highest marks on their final exams and the highest marks in Latin, French and History. This year's awards were presented by the Fondation CANDIDA's Vice President Monique Adams at the graduation ceremony on 5 July 2021. 

The 2021 laureates are Lélian-Mahi Shakh (Best Student, French), Lynn Schanen (Best Student, Latin) and Lee-Ann Lichtenberger (Best Student, History).

Mr Henri Grethen, co-founder of the Fondation CANDIDA, congratulated the laureates: "The Fondation CANDIDA is proud to support these young people, who have shown admirable dedication to their work, especially during this very special year. We wish them every success in their respective endeavours." 

The Fondation CANDIDA was established in memory of Professors Alice Wolzfeld and Jos Wolzfeld and is committed to cultural, social, arts and development aid.
