Fondation Milly Thill

The founder, Milly Thill, spent her life as a dedicated teacher with a special interest in the arts. Throughout her experience, she saw firsthand the positive roles that artistic and musical expression played in children’s development.

Inspired to share these benefits with disadvantaged children in Luxembourg, she decided at the age of 80 to set up a dormant sheltered foundation under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg. Following her passing in 2021, the foundation became active and supports workshops centered on art and music for children in the care of SOS Kannerduerf in Mersch. Through these activities, children from disadvantaged backgrounds are given the opportunity to express themselves creatively and to enjoy the positive effects of art and music on their development.
