Since the beginning of the war, over 8 million Ukrainians have fled their country. Some of them have chosen Luxembourg, seeking protection and safety. Unfortunately, many refugees suffer from post-traumatic stress and other war-related traumas linked to their forced displacement. Thanks to the initiative of LUkraine's association, psychological support has been provided to Ukrainian refugees in Luxembourg by professionals who share their language. Over 2 000 support sessions have been carried out since May 2022, for adults, teenagers and children.
