In this respect, the sheltered foundation supported and encouraged non-profit organisations whose primary focus was the support of children and their social environment.  Their assistance helped to improve the social conditions that children live in by giving them the opportunity to benefit from appropriate health care services, a decent education and professional training. These organisations could either be active in the founders’ direct environment or worldwide in the poorer regions and developing countries.
