Promoting the Development of Social Entrepreneurship Through Ashoka, the World’s Leading Network of Social Entrepreneurs

Social entrepreneurship aims to drive economic development while placing social and human concerns at the heart of its mission. This involves addressing social or environmental challenges through sustainable and viable economic initiatives. Ashoka, an active network in Europe and around the world, provides professional and/or financial support to social entrepreneurs, helping them develop innovative ventures that offer new solutions to today’s pressing issues.

Over the past 30 years, Ashoka’s network of mentors has supported more than 3,000 social entrepreneurs, contributing to the growth of a strong and dynamic social entrepreneurship sector.

The PRAIRIAL Foundation has been supporting social entrepreneurs for several years by offering both funding for their initiatives and personalized coaching support.
