Knowing How to React in a Cardiovascular Emergency Can Save Lives
The Cœur Daniel Wagner Foundation supports a first aid awareness project led by the Luxembourg Resuscitation Council in partnership with the Ministry of National Education. The campaign, titled “React at School!”, aims to educate Luxembourgish schoolchildren and high school students — as well as their families — on how to respond to cardiovascular emergencies through basic first aid.
As part of the project, mousepads illustrating the key steps to take when someone is experiencing — or at risk of experiencing — a cardiovascular emergency have been distributed to students across the Grand Duchy. These lifesaving actions are essential to provide effective assistance until emergency services arrive. More than 5,000 mousepads and kits will be distributed to children and teenagers throughout Luxembourg.
