The Science for Society Foundation supports organisations and projects aiming at communicating unbiased scientific information to opinion leaders and the general public.

The Foundation will especially target its support in scientific fields in which the information tends to be biased because of political agendas or emotional content, such as the environment, health or sustainable development issues.

It envisions that a better understanding of science in areas that are important for Society will foster sounder debates and more informed policy decisions.
