Seminar about alternative statutes for foundations

The philanthropy advisor event organized by Fondation de Luxembourg on January 21 at the Cercle Munster was an opportunity to understand the difference between a private (family) foundation and a philanthropic foundation under the law of 1928.

In this context, Michel Bulach, Partner and Head of the Banking & Finance Practice of WILDGEN law firm spoke about the forthcoming law on the Luxembourg private foundation in comparison with the existing charitable foundation.

His presentation was followed by a very inspiring speech of Keith O’Donnell, Founding Partner and Managing Partner at ATOZ, who explained the reasoning behind the creation of the Atoz Foundation, which he co-founded together with his colleagues in 2012, its mission and what they hope to achieve.
