The Master’s programme is hosted by the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF).
This year, the class of 26 internationally diverse students learned about the motivations and expectations of today's philanthropists as well as existing structures and vehicles for philanthropic giving. The skills gained will serve them well as future wealth managers, so that they may better advise their clients toward a structured and efficient philanthropic strategy.
Students were asked to consider legal and fiscal aspects in cross-border giving, an essential topic in today’s globalized society, while better understanding existing approaches for impact-driven philanthropy. Specific examples and case studies allowed students to apply their learning to real-life situations, and gain proficiency in advising and engaging their future clients in the topic of philanthropy.
