CARO Foundation

The CARO Foundation, first established as a “dormant” foundation by a lady from South Tyrol (Italy) living in Luxembourg, aims to improve medical care in developing countries. Following her passing in 2024, the foundation became active in supporting medical missions for vulnerable populations and funding medical scholarships for students in need.

The founder had a particular passion for both medicine and international relations, having mainly worked in European institutions throughout her career. Her hope for her foundation was to contribute to improving access to medical care for the most vulnerable of the population.
