Driven by their strong vision of a united Europe, the founders are convinced that the European integration process has to be built on open exchanges between people, information and education. The founders believe that a better comprehension of Europe is only possible by increasing the awareness for the shared cultural, intellectual and economic wealth of Europe’s regions, especially the Saar-Lor-Lux region.  By supporting educational, research and information exchange projects, the sheltered foundation wished to strengthen civil society and enable it to respond positively to the challenges of today and tomorrow.
