This art therapy project at the Colpach Rehabilitation Centre in Luxembourg aims to support the rehabilitation of individuals living with cancer.
Defined as “the use of artistic potential for human and therapeutic purposes,” art therapy is characterized by original concepts, specific methods, and tailored tools that enable artistic expression in the context of rehabilitation for people with various medical conditions.
This innovative approach takes the form of weekly workshops, where patients are encouraged to express themselves through painting, pottery, drawing, and various forms of visual arts. These sessions provide a space for patients to communicate their pain, hopes, and emotions in a new way, contributing meaningfully to their rehabilitation process.
