Philanthropy's Role in Innovating Luxembourg as a Financial Center - 10.11.2011

Conference organized by AMCHAM with keynote speaker Hugo Mahieu of the Mangrove foundation followed by a panel discussion.

Join AMCHAM's Financial Services Committee at the Philanthropy’s Role in Innovating Luxembourg as a Financial Center event on November 10  which will focus on Luxembourg as a center of excellence in philanthropy.
Financial centers such as Singapore and Geneva have established vehicles for philanthropic investments and are encouraging private philanthropic commitments.
The potential for growth in Luxembourg is worth noting: philanthropic investments represent a market of 85 billion Euros in Europe, not to mention the residual effects of positive country branding and corporate responsibility.
Does Luxembourg as a financial center have what it takes to be a European leader in philanthropy? This event will help to answer this question and others such as, "What are the benefits of setting up a foundation in Luxembourg?”and "What are the new regulations related to infrastructure, legislative and fiscal matters?”
