EAs member of the Donors and Foundations Network in Europe (DAFNE) and the European Foundation Centre (EFC), Fondation de Luxembourg is a signatory to the European Philanthropy Manifesto.

Jessica Karta and Dominik Ternes, two PhD students from the Life Sciences Research Unit (LSRU) at the University of Luxembourg, have recently been awarded the Pelican Grant from the Fondation du Pélican de Mie et Pierre Hippert-Faber.

The achievements of the Fondation de Luxembourg, just ten years after it was first founded, are testament to the major role it plays in philanthropy in the Grand Duchy.

The Fondation de Luxembourg believes in aligning a foundation’s investments with its philanthropic mission and the charitable causes it supports.

Philippe Champy, a French national and founder of the Fondation La Marck, was appointed Commander of the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on Thursday, 8 November 2018 by Prime Minister Xavier Bettel.
