Inspired by the ideals of Pierre Werner, the Pierre Werner Scholarship fosters European integration. The Fondation Pierre Werner, under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg, awards annual scholarships to outstanding postgraduate students from European countries (except Luxembourg) in the fields of law, economics, finance and political sciences at the University of Luxembourg.

Students who meet the following criteria are invited to apply:

• EU nationals (excluding Luxembourg) or citizens of a recognised candidate for future membership of the EU (Albania, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia/North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey);
• Currently registered PhD students at Uni.lu, at all stages of their studies

Interested applicants are invited to submit an application that includes:

• A duly completed application form
• A personal statement/motivation letter
• A CV, including a list of publications (if applicable)
• Two letters of recommendation (academic)
