Researchers at the University of Luxembourg are investigating which factors predict levels of psychological distress and well-being associated with the current social-distancing measures.
Social isolation, like the preventive measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, can have devastating effects on human's mental health and well-being. A research team at the University of Luxembourg is currently examining individual, context, and societal factors that can help determine who is at greatest risk of the negative effects of social confinement. Results from the study will also be able to better inform policies to prevent pandemics of this kind in the future.
