Support from the Fondation COVID-19 allowed Luxembourg Air Rescue to purchase specialized equipment for transporting immunocompromised and COVID-19 infected patients. Not only did this new equipment make it possible to better protect the crew and future patients from infections, but it also helped to increase the reaction time of the rescue helicopters and planes.
