The Fondation Jacqueline NOEL awards annual scholarships to outstanding Masters and doctorate students in the fields of law, economics, finance and political sciences.
In the hopes of perpetuating Mrs. NOEL's values and ideals, the foundation awards need- and merit-based scholarships which seek to recognize and encourage exceptional scholarship in Economics or International Development.
Since 2021, the scholarships and awards have been given to the following recipients:
- In 2021:
- Dr. Teresa Quintel, Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (Luxembourg University), for the outstanding quality of her thesis: Managing Migration Flows by Processing Personal Data Within the Adequate Data Protection Instrument - Scoping Exercise between general and law enforcement data protection rules applicable to Third Country Nationals.
- Teodora Irina Mares, Collège d'Europe, for her Masters studies in European Union International Relations and Diplomacy Studies.
- In 2022:
- Patricia Amalia Vulpe, Collège d'Europe, for her Masters studies in European Union International Relations and Diplomacy Studies.
- Dr. Chrysa Alexandraki, Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (University of Luxembourg), for the outstanding quality of her thesis: Climate finance law through the lens of transparency and accountability.
- In 2023:
- Paula Alvarez Vidal, Collège d'Europe, for her Masters studies in European Union International Relations and Diplomacy Studies.
- Dr. Nicole Citeroni, Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (University of Luxembourg), for the outstanding quality of her thesis : Systemic Economic Offences as a New Paradigm of International Crimes. Towards an Evolution or Revolution of International Law?

- Dr. Angelica A. Fernández, Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (University of Luxembourg), for the outstanding quality of her thesis : Algorithmic Enforcement in Social Media Platforms: AI and Online Platforms in EU Law
- Angelina Wagner, Collège d'Europe, for her Masters studies in European Union International Relations and Diplomacy Studies.
