The PwC Foundation Luxembourg was created to promote education and cultural projects in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. It may also provide emergency support in response to humanitarian and environmental crises worldwide.
Founded by PwC Luxembourg, the largest professional services firm in Luxembourg, the PwC Foundation Luxembourg is aligned with the corporate purpose of PwC to build trust in society and solve important problems. Active in Luxembourg and the countries of the Greater Region (France, Germany and Belgium) the PwC Foundation Luxembourg focuses on philanthropic support in the fields of education and culture, while putting PwC Luxembourg collaborators' time and expertise at the service of others.
Indeed, PwC Luxembourg employees are encouraged to play an active part in the foundation by joining two dedicated committees for educational and cultural projects. Through these committees, employees may participate in identifiying and pre-selecting charitable projects to be recommended to the management committee, the foundation's decision-making body.
The PwC Foundation Luxembourg supports projects that further education at all ages, as well as cultural projects that enable artistic creation and access to culture. In both fields, the foundation engages in both long-term support to a limited number of projects, as well as one-off grants to specific projects.
The PwC Foundation Luxembourg also contributes to urgent humanitarian or environmental response efforts.
