Objective:
The intention is to enable the private banking sector to build an internal capacity in order to address their clients’ philanthropy needs.
By attending the course, wealth managers and estate planers will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure a first level of support within their organizations for advising their clients regarding their philanthropic expectations.
The training covers the following aspects:
- Understanding why philanthropy should be part of the services offered by wealth advisers.
- Insight in the expectations of today’s philanthropists including the latest trends such as venture philanthropy and social entrepreneurship
- Introduction to key principles of effective giving.
- In depth insight in the fiscal aspects of engaging in cross-border philanthropy.
- In depth knowledge about the legal framework for donations.
