The Foundation's aim is to assist the most vulnerable sectors of society, and children in particular, in accessing education and healthcare.
The Fondation pour l’éducation et la santé PIOU REDO is committed to facilitating access to education and the healthcare system by disadvantaged children and adults as well as their families. The Foundation provides support in the form of medical, psychological, administrative and financial assistance
The Foundation was established by Reinold Geiger as a tribute to his wife Dominique Geiger and Henri Biard. These three exceptional people have used their success to address healthcare problems and children's issues in the countries dearest to them, Brazil and Morocco respectively.
Statement by the Founders:
"Access to healthcare should be a right and not a privilege for every individual, child, woman, man and elderly person. It is the Foundation’s aim to make advances in research, medical treatment and care available to the most disadvantaged in society as well as their families."
"A child teaches you self-sacrifice. As adults we have the duty to provide children with the emotional, physical, intellectual and structural support to allow them to secure their place in this world."
The Fondation pour l’éducation et la santé PIOU REDO benefits from the skills and experience of Fondation de Luxembourg in order to effectively assist disadvantaged children by establishing care facilities and educational, food action, sporting and cultural initiatives…
