The objective is to support poor and under-privileged people with a special focus on religion, education and social causes.
The name “Micah 6:8” was chosen by the founders as a reference to the verse in the bible, “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8) The founders believe that this verse reflects their religious convictions and vision for the people of this world and it is their desire to be obedient to it inasmuch as they are able.
It is with this in mind that the Micah 6:8 Foundation provides financial support to various Christian projects that are aiming to meet the needs of poor and underprivileged people regardless of their religious convictions; people who are suffering poverty, learning disorders, family problems, social/behavourial issues from no fault of their own but as a result of their difficult living environment. The Micah 6:8 Foundation also works closely with organizations promoting the spread of the Christian Gospel believing that this too gives hope and strength to vulnerable people.
It is the founders’ profound wish to help bring justice and mercy into this world.
