Providing emergency aid to sick refugee children in Jordan who were forced to leave their homes due to the war in Syria.
Jordan is the country with the second highest number of Syrian refugees per capita in the world, and almost half of those refugees are children. In order to provide adequate health care for these children in need, the Fondation Majany, under our aegis, is supporting medical missions in Amman related to dentistry, orthopaedics and urology, carried out by the NGO Chaîne de l'Espoir Luxembourg.
Through these medical missions in Jordan, refugee children suffering from pathologies that can be cured by surgery, receive life-changing care. This care also relieves a financial burden for their family and allows for greater socio-economic integration.
